JCF recognizes the importance of buying right, but also believes value can be created at each junction in a property's life cycle, with expert management, brokerage, construction and specialized oversight. Following is a general description of the services provided by JCF Real Estate, and its affiliates.
Development
JCF Real Estate is actively involved in identifying, evaluating and executing development opportunities throughout the Chicagoland area. The leadership of the firm has experience in developing all property types - office, industrial and retail. This experience allows us to manage the entire process: obtaining entitlements, negotiating leases, analyzing and structuring all financial aspects of the development projects, leading construction and, ultimately, through stabilization of the project.
Third Party Property/Asset Management
For more than 15 years we have managed assets for the full spectrum of ownership entities: institutions, partnerships, banks and court appointed receiverships. Our objective is to manage the properties professionally, responsively, aggressively and proactively in order to enhance the value of the property and achieve maximum returns for the owner/investor. Additional means for adding value, and an area in which JCF has considerable experience, is the redevelopment of virtually all asset types. This effort, in conjunction with a repositioning program, provides significant marketing leverage and can substantially improve property occupancy, cash flow and returns.
Commercial Brokerage
Property Leasing & Tenant Representation
JCF has a staff of brokers whose purpose is to work hand in hand with our management services group, leasing the properties JCF Real Estate manages. These services include procuring tenants for vacant units, renewing existing tenants and achieving lease deals that are advantageous to both property ownership and the tenant.
In addition, JCF represents also represents tenants working with them to identify their requirements and then execute an exhaustive search process to secure their ideal corporate location.
Sales and Dispositions
As an extension of the brokerage division, to satisfy the needs of owners and/or users, JCF's brokerage division is more than capable of handling acquisition and disposition assignments for all types of owners across all property types. Assignments have included the disposition of various properties on behalf of ownership in order to realize maximum value in the marketplace.
Construction
JCF includes the staff of SR&J Construction, which oversees all renovation and tenant improvement projects, from extensive renovation of shopping centers and office building projects. Their involvement and expertise provide a competitive advantage, creating an economic benefit for building owners.
Receivership/Foreclosure
JCF has an established reputation acting in the highly regarded role of court appointed receiver for real estate assignments including office, retail and residential properties. Typically we are recommended as Receiver to the courts by various financial institutions, insurance companies and attorneys.
