JCF Real Estate to break ground on Corporate Reserve of St. Charles business park
ST. CHARLES, Ill. - Chicago-based JCF Real Estate will host a ceremonial groundbreaking this Thursday, June 19th for The Corporate Reserve of St. Charles, its new 50-acre corporate business park here.
The $100 million development - the largest of its kind in the history of the Fox Valley - will ultimately include more than 600,000 square feet of office space, all within a lush, park-like setting.
The ceremony will begin at 4 p.m. at the development site, which is located along North Avenue (Route 64) roughly ½ mile west of Randall Road.
The event will include cocktails, hors d’oeuvers and music in addition to remarks from St. Charles Mayor Donald DeWitte and JCF Real Estate Founder and President John Fitzmaurice.
Various other local dignitaries are also expected to attend.
"Any development of this magnitude brings with it a series of significant milestones," Fitzmaurice said. "Having already closed on the property and secured village approval for our plans, we are very pleased to be entering the construction and pre-leasing phase of our project."
Preliminary site work is already underway, Fitzmaurice said.
Initial plans call for two single-story, 15,000-square-foot speculative office buildings as well as one three-story, 45,000-square-foot speculative office building. In addition, the park offers the opportunity for various corporate build-to-suit office parcels ranging in size from 2 to 19 acres and accommodating buildings of more than 200,000 square feet.
